Love

It is the ultimate high

It is ever fleeting when sought for in another

It brings out the best in us

It brings out the worst in us

It has the ability to lift us from obscurity

It has the ability to push us into obscurity

It has the power to ignite a magic so pure that it ripples through the world

It lights the eternal flame within

It motivates us to sacrifice and compromise ourselves until we can’t anymore

It demands we slow down for a bit

But it also can distract and destroy momentum

We have 2 choices: we get caught up in the never-ending chase of it or we find it within ourselves and that can never be taken from us.

If we were taught or shown or guided towards being in love with ourselves it would put many industries out of business.

If we saw our worth and had it supported from birth, then we would change the world so drastically that the system we have been placed in would collapse.

Why don’t we try or seek to be in love with ourselves first?

It would require drastic change, but it is so worth it.
