French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin believed we are not human beings having a spiritual experience
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
I would like to add the more spiritual you become in your awareness, the more you are connected to your humanity. You embrace at a deep level the value of ‘all of you.’ The thoughts, the feelings, the joy, and the depth. You become totally comfortable with yourself. It is essential as a Difference Maker to be comfortable with yourself.
Life is an ongoing destination of learning, yet there is an arrival place — it’s called happiness. With happiness, you draw from the core of your being, which is produced and renewed from ‘something’ much greater than who you are. Even though your life may take many twists and turns, the inner happiness you experience is always a non-negotiable.
In other words, behind each challenge, confrontation, or crisis there is always present within you the inner knowing of joy.
Happiness frees us to be original. Being original leads to authenticity. Authenticity leads to acceptance. Acceptance leads to tolerance. Tolerance leads to connecting. Connecting leads to happiness.
Happiness generates peace.

#TRUTH Rev. Dr. Temple Hayes! “Happiness generates peace.” This right here is also non-negotiable.
Love the consistency of your teachings… LOVE you more. #TRUTH
Dear Temple,
Reading your essay filled me full of optimism, it really did. Happiness does mean we are ourselves; genuine happiness cannot be an act. It comes from the heart. Positive, spiritual vibes.
Genuine happiness can be as infectious as a smile, spreading kindness. Being comfortable in one’s own skin is a vital element and vehicle towards happiness. And happiness cannot false.
I know I have droned on rather, but your essay provoked my comments.
Really super.
Simon
