Today I am thinking about the legacy that we leave behind. Walter Lippmann told us that “The final test of a leader is that he leaves behind him in other men, the conviction and the will to carry on.”
Throughout history, many men and women have left powerful legacies. Martin Luther King, Jr. is one individual who left behind him a conviction and will to carry on that is still alive today.
What is required of me today in order to leave a meaningful legacy when I am gone? Purposeful action.
I wonder what will my legacy be? That is up to me.
My legacy I hope will be a good mother, grandmother, friend and someone who loved beyond liking.
That is the best legacy there is, Lynn. Thank you for sharing it with us.
