Are you angry? You should be. But what are you angry about? Misdirected anger is nothing but destructive. Anger harnessed and channeled can become the most constructive force in the world.
So go ahead and get mad. It’s what you do next that matters.

I loved this, Yonason! Thank you for capturing the full picture of the story and, still, in the throes of the ugliness, champion hope.
Glad to hear I hit the mark, Kimberly. Half the picture = half the truth. Half-truth = no-truth.
Yonason — Thank you for articulating what many of us are obviously feeling. I confess to being a bit stuck on figuring out what I can MEANINGFULLY do next that matters.
We don’t control outcomes, Jeff. All we can do is the best we can do. The butterfly never sees the hurricane it unleashes on the other side of the world.
Thank you for the most balanced, thoughtful commentary I have heard thus far.
I am also mad as hell and hope is becoming elusive. Everything I thought I “knew” is being challenged and that’s hard.
Might be time to go find that cabin in the woods.
Cabin in the woods sounds good right now, Carol. But we have to come back sooner or later.
Please don’t lose hope. This always makes me feel better:

Yonason,
Thank you for this calming, insightful, and hopeful video. But moreover, thank you for providing reason, sanity, and logic. Your words are a breath of fresh air. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you, and like you, I refuse to give up hope.
I wish you well, and here’s to the hope that is on the horizon and waiting for us to grab hold and say ”I can do this.”
It’s easier to walk with hope when we aren’t walking alone. Glad to be walking together, Laura.
Yonason I am with you. This is a great video. Thank you.
What’s sad is, I know I’m mad as hell, but in order to function, I have it well harnessed, to the point of sometimes feeling just apathetic, frozen, numb and that feeling makes me more angry that we have so little control.
I know I’m not alone in this feeling.
Seeing people around the world expressing themselves, out on the street with their signs and voices, makes me so proud.
I do only what I can and that is to write, share videos…
Sometimes that is enough.
Doing your best is always enough, Laurie.
