This happened every Sunday, and with the increasing number of helping hands, they managed to reach almost every homeless they could. With just a few months gone the headcount from three had reached to over fifty.

Let’s Show Them How “WE CARE”

College Café had become their working office. In three months time, they had covered almost everything on the list, with just one thing yet to be taken care of.

Five leading head of the group…Richa, Venya, Dorji, Tushar and Vivek, the latter two were the same boys who once had suggested Dorji to stop crying for these people, whom now, they were contributing ideas to help. They were engrossed there, cracking their mind on how to get the final number done from the list.

“We have to get it done; we can’t leave them this way.” Hot-headed Dorji broke the silence, making all the eyes turn to him.

“We all know that we cannot leave them in streets… but we need a lot of cash for that and a lot of legal procedures to be followed….It is not like what we have been doing till today, washing and clipping nails.” Tushar fired back.

To which Richa replied with a smirk “If I am not wrongdoing this was not easy for you either three months back, remember?” Dorji arching his brows smiled nodding.

“Nobody cares was what you said…but now in such a short span of time, we can see hundreds of people joining us. “Who really cares? We Care”….and this is how we care.” Dorji winked at  Vivek who had witnessed both the denial and acceptance phase of Tushar who smiled back with pressed lips and accepted with a slow nod.

A sudden excitement hit Venya and she began scribbling something on the paper before her. “This is who we are and how we do, The Name To our cause.

This is how We Care.

We will fight whatever may come, and built them the roof they deserve, a shelter home the final and the most challenging thing to do.”

My habit of keeping a Journal gave me the fascination for writing. From preparing assignments for my friends in school to writing stories, it took thirty-five years for me to realize my love for writing. Now, a housewife and a mother of two beautiful kids, I am trying to walk the path to my passion through this fiction blog. Fiction that can give you a break from monotony, taking you to the whole new world of imagination. And this is what tricky lane is all about. It helps to add a little variety to your tedious life. It will surely transfer you to the land of fantasy making you forget yourself. I have here created a realm of Fantasy and every lane in it is destined to touch your heart. Yes, I strongly agree that lane to passion is the most challenging yet, gratifying way to bliss.
