I Know What Needs to Be Done

I know what needs to be done. I know the direction that is in my best interest. I recognize that it is me that has and will continue to stop me if changes are not made. It is my responsibility to take ownership of my destiny while accepting that life happens. Things do take place that frankly, will stop me in my tracks. It is designed to force me to discover the lesson but more importantly, to apply it. Setbacks merely become Setups when I own it and take action to rise above it. Life has placed me exactly where I stand right now based on circumstances and choices.  It is mainly the choice that I had the full freedom to make.

While I may be dealing with the consequences, the current situation is not permanent. My success moving forward depends on how I confront and work through the test. Any test that we successfully pass becomes an inspiring testimony. It may be difficult yet it is not impossible. It is frustrating yet not futile. I may be my worst enemy, yet today, I can choose to move towards the other side and support my efforts.

I am exactly what I say I am and not based on what others have told me. I am going to repeat that… I am EXACTLY WHAT I SAY I AM AND NOT BASED ON WHAT OTHERS HAVE TOLD ME.

There is a spirit above ready to move things in my favor though I have to do my part and get started. Yesterday may have kicked my butt and continued thru today. That does not mean that tomorrow has to follow the same script. Someday has decided to become Today because I finally made a decision that I was sick and tired of the same outcomes. The motivation to press through the difficulty of the moment will allow me to fully appreciate what is on the other side. No one has started singing yet so the journey is not over. That means there is a chance and opportunity to make it come true.

I have made mistakes but they simply mean that I have the ability to continue to seek ways to get better.

I have been knocked down but refuse to stay down even when the ground seems comfortable. I remember reading somewhere where Denzel Washington said: “Fall down 7 times, get up 8.” There was a reason that I was knocked on my back because there was only one direction that I could see and that was Up. I now remember when I looked up and saw something like Opportunity looking down on me. Life will not always make sense yet there are signs of great things to come. I have seen it and know it to be true. I will be a living example of how the comeback followed me because I refused to give up.

The final act has not been written so I must continue to add to the script of my life.

Whatever time I have left will not be spent in self- pity or regret. For everything that has happened influences this moment and in this moment, I wish to give thanks. There is a way as long as I am guided through the way. There is a goodness that will allow me to transition into greatness. I am who I am and my goal is to simply wake up tomorrow and become a better version of my yesterday. That is if I am fortunate to see the day.

Yes, I stopped taking things for granted so each morning is a true blessing.  Whether the sun is out or the rain is coming down matters not any longer. It doesn’t matter if the season is hot or cold. I appreciate the moment that I am in. There are many who would love my life if only I would stop comparing myself to others. I have been blessed with a gift and that is my price of admission in this thing called life. I must use the gift or risk losing the gift. My talents should be used to lift others up rather than pushing them out. One step closer to the promise should be the goal as I look to bring others along.

The story here is simple. All of us are unique in our own way. We need to help rather than hurt one another.

In this moment, recognize your worth and value and make a commitment to make each moment count.

We bring something that is special and that is called our life. Success is rented every day and it is not all about the money we make. It is about the moments we create. Be encouraged and give yourself a break. Allow the burden of whatever is holding you back to instead, lift you up. You matter and so, therefore, it matters. The road may have been tough lately, yet your struggles have simply paved the way towards a better outcome. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel no matter how far away or dim it seems. Simply keep moving in-spite and despite the present circumstances. You may seem alone but help will come in the most unusual and unexpected way. Just know that this difficulty is not in vain. It is not a waste of time and the best is actually yet to come. Just don’t stop believing there is a way to it. Accept the only and most accurate way is simply through it. Stand up rather than Sit down because motion leads to action and this will turn into an extraordinary outcome.
