For some, it takes a lifetime
To understand this race
With all it has to offer
And more so when disgraced
It’s not a simple concept
To many who do struggle
The lack of kindness shows
What’s free and really simple
The laws that are announced
So many have to follow
Who gives the leader love
If they are feeling hollow
The commands presented too
All leaders from the start
Ignites in them a passion
The power from the heart
As grateful as we are
When we see true grace
There is a force that pulls
And tries to take its place
A value is a measure
But who defines the price
There isn’t any worth
If it does not feel nice
Everyone’s a leader
For on this earth, we roam
Single with the others
We share this world our home
You cannot lead some others
Unless you lead self first
For if you try to do so
Misguidance is a curse
Because we are all human
There are times that we will fall
The leader in the group
Is first to help at all
A leader in a group
Doesn’t feel in charge
They see the worth in others
Together this is large
A leader we all are
We need to see this gift
As humans we all fall
And to others give a lift
In order to support
And offer any service
First, a leader knows
That dignity is selfless
If humanity’s your business
And you think this way
Did you find some value
In how you lived today?️

Beautiful, Paula! Really, really lovely. What a gift!
Paula, this are strong concepts! The last two lines are what I’m taking with me today:
Did you find some value
in in how you lived today?
Thank you for sharing this one!
Thank you so much Melissa! It’s a great way to live each day.. helps me! Thank you So much for dropping by And have a fabulous value filled day my lady😀😀😀
I really loved this, Paula and what stood out for me is, “Who gives the leader love – If they are feeling hollow” – There’s so much to reflect on here – whether it’s the leaders we look to or the leader within us all. I think almost all reaction/bad behavior stems from that hollowness…
It like We start in life always searching….if we lead ourselves first.. it’s just easier … our number one job is to help one another. Thank you so much for reading this Kimberly. I really appreciate your time. Have a wonderful week too!
Lovely Paula,
Definitely agree that we start with ourselves, then we can lead.
Stay safe and well.
We all take turns🙏🙏🙏. Thank you so much for reading Laurie, means a lot ❤️

Larry, that’s a huge complement! Thank you so much…sometimes my pen has a louder approach than my voice… the strength from the core sometimes has its own path… I write it down
