We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.
–Charlie Chaplin
In a world often dominated by negative headlines, imagine flipping the script and replacing all the bad news with stories of kindness in action. Instead of tales of conflict and disaster, picture a news cycle brimming with accounts of everyday heroes, random acts of compassion, and communities coming together to uplift one another. This shift in focus could not only brighten our daily outlook but also inspire a ripple effect of goodwill, reminding us of the inherent decency in humanity and the positive impact we can all have on the world around us.
“When you get where you’re goin’, Don’t forget to turn back around, Help the next one in line. Always stay humble and kind …” ~ Tim McGraw
We’re eager to hear your stories about compassion and generosity in everyday life. Kindness can manifest in countless ways, big and small, and we’d love for you to share your experiences with us. Perhaps you’ve witnessed a neighbor shoveling snow from an elderly person’s driveway without being asked. Maybe a coworker surprised the office with homemade treats on a particularly stressful day. Or you might have been touched by a stranger who helped you carry groceries to your car when your hands were full.
Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.
– Howard Zinn

Unfortunately, all you have to do is open a newspaper or listen to the news to discover only bad events.
The newspaper I read started a good initiative a few years ago: once a week it adds an attachment to the newspaper entitled “GOOD NEWS”, to which I give my modest contribution, where finally acts of solidarity, volunteering, kindness, and advice for sharing one’s skills to try to improve this world are told.
Then you can do many small things that, step by step, contribute to great results. Every single drop of water contributes to forming a lake, and every single grain contributes to forming a mountain. Above all, talk to young people to explain to them that success in life is achieved with grace, education, commitment to others, all things that do not involve sacrifice, do not take away moments of freedom, but gratify us.
I do not like to talk about my activities for these purposes, but I guarantee that you can do a lot with very little effort.
Thank you, Aldo. Your perspectives are right on target, as usual. It takes so little to do so much for so many with everyday acts of Kindness!
