How To Stop Being A Worrywart

Dear ones, worry, anxiety, and fear are not preventive medicine, they don’t predict the future, they don’t help you get a jump on protecting yourself from future disaster and they don’t fill you with joy or strengthen your resolve to look on the bright side. No, the only thing worry, anxiety, and fear are capable of giving you are more reasons to be in a fear-based state or worry that’s separate from the Divine mind.

Staying in the high vibration of love gives you access to Divine help

When you choose worry over faith, anxiety over trust and fear over love, you reinforce your weaknesses and destroy your strengths. We’re not trying to suggest you’ll never have an experience, a thought or a situation that will make you afraid or worried but we are suggesting that you meet fear with love.  Love for the situation, the problem and all of the participating energy. When you look at what appears to be with eyes of love instead of fear, you accomplish three things. First, staying in the high vibration of love gives you access to Divine help. When you’re operating in the high vibrational love frequency you’ve made yourself available to receive the help and direction you desire. Worry, panic, desperation act as barriers and their low vibrational resonance prevents you from being able to access help from Source. So your best defense against a fear-based opponent is to stay in love where all of the answers you seek can be found.

The second thing that occurs when you respond to worry and fear with love is that you take away worry’s power. You successfully let the air out of the energy of anxiety that worry and fear have generated. This means that worry and fear are now powerless to affect your life negatively. When you stay in the high vibration of love you may encounter the event or person you feared and worried about but you’ll not feel overwhelmed or alone when you meet that which you’d feared. Instead, the calm connected you will answer the door and the information, resources, and ability you need to handle the situation with ease will be right there with you. Why? Because the high vibration of love can only attract that which is like itself. So, even though, you may need to experience a growth challenge for your optimal development you needn’t spend any time worrying about that challenge because love has prepared the way to victory.

When you spend time partnering with unconditional love, you develop discernment

The final thing that happens when you meet darkness with love and understanding is that you build both faith and trust. In the beginning of your journey with the Divine, you’re as a toddler learning to walk. There are many wobbles, falls and refusals to budge but over time if you keep responding to every situation with love you learn that the unconditional love of God is not weak, it doesn’t give in to spare another’s feelings and it doesn’t encourage you to believe that you’re small or weak. When you spend time partnering with unconditional love, you develop discernment. You understand which people and projects will help you and which will cause you harm. Because you know who and what to avoid you can feel safe and build trust. In addition, when you spend time immersed in the energy of unconditional love you begin expecting things to work out. You expect good to find you and law of attraction guarantees that it will so you’re then able to build faith. By knowing what to avoid and what to cling to you place yourself in a position of dominance within your own life. By seeing yourself as strong, by believing that you’re loved and supported and by knowing that everything always works out for your highest good, you’ve removed the worry and anxiety from your life and replaced it with love, faith, and trust.

Yet, how does the worrywart ever find the peace necessary to move them from the place of anxiety they currently occupy to the place of peace and certainty they’d like to occupy? The answer is simple, by taking small deliberate action steps every day. First, begin by recognizing that this is a long term solution. The behavior that is sustainable doesn’t just show up, it’s cultivated. So begin by giving yourself permission to stop worrying, “I ______________ give myself the day off. Instead of worrying about what if or what might happen, I’m going to be present right now and enjoy this moment.” Then you must do your best to stay focused on the present and actively seek to find good things to focus on. Next, you must make a mental or physical note of every good thing and commit to reviewing that list throughout your day. The worrier reviews endless scenarios of doom, the trusting one, on the other hand, substitutes faith for gloom and doom and reviews endless scenarios of the desired outcome. It’s then necessary to monitor your words and thoughts to keep yourself on the path of the desired outcome as opposed to the feared outcome. Finally, you must commit to a daily review of everything that went right. The more you fill your mind with all that’s going right, the less room there’ll be for worry and fear to make themselves known. So instead of thoughts of joy being crowded out by thoughts of disaster, now thoughts of joy will overshadow thoughts of doom until all of your energy is focused on joy.

Instead of wasting time on worry, now you’re investing time and energy into all of the thoughts that bring you joy

Remember, this simple reversal of thought exercise is not a burden added to your already overburdened to-do list, it’s simply a transference of energy. Instead of wasting time on worry, now you’re investing time and energy into all of the thoughts that bring you joy. It is from that place of joy, that abundance flows.
