Dearest hearts before you can announce yourself to the world, shine your brightest or make a difference in your own life or the life of others you must understand power. There are two types of power available for every being in a physical body. There is ego power which can be used to create a sense of superiority or a sense of inferiority depending on which direction you wish to move. Ego power can be perverted into the bully mentality or the victim mentality but it’s always about the abuse of power, never about using influence or power for the good of the self or others. Divine power is the end product of responsibility. Divine power has no need of being the authority or the subject. It has no need to be right, to prove itself or to influence others but it will do all of those things because of its alignment with Source. Personal power that is aligned with the Divine allows yourself to shine without pretense as it encourages others to shine without judgment.
As you grow older, the desire for independence forces you to seek power of your own
In the early years of the physical life, it’s perceived that you have no personal power. Others take care of your needs and see to your well-being. You are seen as the recipient of their care. As you grow older, the desire for independence forces you to seek power of your own. You strive for mobility and self-care, then branch out into independent thought and beingness all in a quest for power. However, most of you falter in your Divine connection as you pursue your independence and the ego move into the driver’s seat of your life.
Neither of these ego-based expressions is stable and neither promotes growth. Therefore, situations and circumstances that are intolerable are now introduced into the picture
Thus begins the encouragement to pursue power that will be self-aggrandizing. Yet, this does not mean all of you will choose to become authoritarian leaders and lord it over others. No, some will choose to bully others into seeing their greatness and others will choose to subvert the ego and make themselves small or appearing to be weak. This group will become the victims. They’ve taken their personal power and used it to make themselves believe they are worthless or capable of being ruled by those who chose to be aggressive with their personal power. Neither of these ego-based expressions is stable and neither promotes growth. Therefore, situations and circumstances that are intolerable are now introduced into the picture. These are the stop and grow moments that enter each life.
You also acknowledge that you will not be able to get there on your own ego power that has isolated you from the Divine but you have unlimited potential when you partner with Source and tap into Divine power
When you’ve arrived at a place of stop, you are encouraged to stop your current behavior and re-evaluate your life. Looking at where you are, you must ask yourself, “What attitudes and behaviors are supporting my growth? Which ones are holding me back and what attitudes and behaviors are necessary for me to move forward?” Growth asks, “What do I need to begin doing that will help me move forward from where I am? How can I honor myself and all others?” Growth does not say, “Who can I use to get what I want?” Growth also does not blame or shame the self or any others. If you desire to grow and align with your authentic personal power which is Divinely inspired then you must take responsibility for where you are, “I am here because my thoughts, feelings, and actions have led me to this place.” And then you acknowledge that you have the power to move yourself out of where you are into the place where you want to be. You also acknowledge that you will not be able to get there on your own ego power that has isolated you from the Divine but you have unlimited potential when you partner with Source and tap into Divine power.
Your personal power will only become available for your use when you throw off the shackles of the ego and align yourself with your Creator
Your greatness will never make itself known while you’re trying to bully others into doing it for you or while you’re busy hiding your greatness from view so you can stay small and inconsequential. Your personal power will only become available for your use when you throw off the shackles of the ego and align yourself with your Creator. To do this you’ll have to set aside all pretense and false beliefs that have allowed you to play the role you’ve assigned to yourself. However, as soon as you decide to stop hiding behind any of the masks you’ve donned, you’ll find yourself beginning to rise. You’ll see yourself come out from underneath the burden of pretense into the authentic self that you’ve brought to share this lifetime.
The Divine’s desire for you is to be your most powerful self, for the truly powerful are the foundation for all others
As you let go of the illusion of power gifted to you by the ego, you’ll begin receiving an accurate picture of your strengths and weaknesses. In addition, you’ll receive an understanding of how you can use your strengths to build your own personal power as you align more fully with the Divine and help others to do the same. From your place of personal power, you’ll then be able to objectively view the weaknesses that need support and call upon the help and guidance you require to assist you in building up every area of your being. The Divine’s desire for you is to be your most powerful self, for the truly powerful are the foundation for all others.
It is always the desire to transform the self into the highest representation of unconditional love that is can achieve so that from this place of power, others may be helped, guided and encouraged to step into their own personal power

It is always the desire to transform the self into the highest representation of unconditional love that is can achieve so that from this place of power, others may be helped, guided and encouraged to step into their own personal power. In this way, all may demonstrate their magnificence.
