Dearest hearts your desire to part ways with the year 2020 is understandable. This previous year left none of you untouched and all of you with a new awareness of what is possible. So even though we understand the desire to begin the year by charging forward, we must caution you to take it slow. Haste will not serve you, rushing headlong into tomorrow will not support your highest good, and trying to pretend that it was all a big nightmare that can be shrugged off with the morning light is believing that a foolish person can become wise by pretending to be so.
We ask that you dedicate 2021 to mindfulness
We ask that you do not try to enact a mad dash forward in your attempt to distance yourself from painful events, instead, we ask that you move ahead with calm certainty. Nothing will be gained by rushing and everything could be lost by pretending it didn’t happen. Therefore, we ask that you dedicate 2021 to mindfulness. Just as 2020 was the year of introspection, allow this new year to lead you into a new way of being, doing, and interacting with yourself and others. 2020 slammed the door on what was considered a normal way to live, it forced each one of you to go within and discover who you had allowed yourself to become. It encouraged you to let go of worn-out ideas and ways of being that were not serving your highest good and now it’s time to take all of this knowledge and use it to help you become heart-centered and mindful of how you’re interacting in the world and what you’re allowing to influence your thoughts and behaviors.
Instead of applying harsh punishment every time you have stepped out of the space of mindfulness and into a place of fear use gentle, loving kindness and encouragement to move back into your sacred alignment
Be mindful and aware that hurtful words and actions from yourself or another are not an indicator of a heart-centered person and simply let go of those interactions.
Now that you’ve been in the fire do not allow the experience to be without lasting value. Reach within and bring forth your greatness. Allow your desire to be for the highest alignment possible at every minute of every day. Be mindful of your thoughts, speech, and actions. Be mindful of who and what you allow into your energetic space. If someone, including yourself, advances upon you with critical, negative, or condemning words or actions do not run, do not fight, and do not retaliate. Take note of this unacceptable behavior and rise above. Be mindful and aware that hurtful words and actions from yourself or another are not an indicator of a heart-centered person and simply let go of those interactions. It’s not necessary to force or beg. Simply rise above by choosing to entertain thoughts, feelings, words, and actions that feel good.
Recrimination and retaliation have no place in the awakened mind, let them go. Instead of applying harsh punishment every time you have stepped out of the space of mindfulness and into a place of fear use gentle, loving kindness and encouragement to move back into your sacred alignment. Praise yourself for being aware and mindful of the fact that you stepped away from what was wanted into what was not wanted. Move back into alignment swiftly but not forcefully by remembering that love and acceptance accomplish more than force and hatred.
This year choose to be accepting, choose to be patient, choose to flow
Allow 2021 to be the year you cease punishing yourself for all that you’re not and begin congratulating yourself for all that you are. There’s no need to hurry. There’s no need to rush but there is an overwhelming need for you to extend to yourself and all others gentle, loving-kindness. This year choose to be accepting, choose to be patient, choose to flow. Let go of forcing, running roughshod over everything, and acting as if being judgmental will help people improve. This year lead by example. Allow mindfulness to make you the most thoughtful person in the room. The one who sees the good and lives in joy. Be the one who consciously and deliberately looks for and finds all of the reasons to be grateful.
This year, slow down, be mindful and celebrate all that you are and all that’s going right in your world
Being present to the goodwill not make you vulnerable to the bad. No, it will make you invincible and invulnerable. That which may have caused you pain will seem insignificant from this higher perspective. Instead of a place of pain, you will now occupy the place of flow. The place of unconditional love where your greatest good continues to pour forth upon you. This year, slow down, be mindful and celebrate all that you are and all that’s going right in your world. Your commitment to goodness will bring ever-increasing reasons for you to be grateful and joyful.
