How Honest Can You Be With Yourself?

So, here is my problem. I am approaching retirement and, because of the way my past employers have treated me, the promise of a pension has completely dissolved. So I have no chance of retiring. I have to keep working.

I went to school. I got a degree and worked well for a great Company. I got promotions and then, like a whole herd of us, we were laid off with a minimal severence, and no pension.

This is reality for nearly all of us now. We have to work to live and when it comes time to retire, most have to keep working. Doc, I need your help to change my brain to something that will actually work.

So, is there a solution? The good news is, “YES,” and ,”NO.”

The government, at least in Canada, will help you receive retraining so you can get another job. The problem with this is that it keeps you on the same treadmill for a few years longer until that job disappears. Can you find a job with the government? That is one of the few places where you may be able to get a pension, over and above government pension, which is barely livable. And let’s face it, government jobs are few and far between. If you KNOW someone, you may get lucky.

So what is the good news?

There is a business sector that is much larger than anyone has really believed. Network Marketing, (NWM), is responsible for US$167 BILLION (2013 statistics), in business annually. That is all the Amways, Mary Kays, Avons, Tupperwares etc. all rolled up into one total. What is really insane is that this figure is anticipated to become more than half a Trillion Dollars in the next 5 to 6 years. Growth is oviously greater than any Stock, fund or bond avaliable today.

NWM is the Next Big Thing.

But wait, anyone can google any NWM company and find people calling it a scam. This is true. As with any company or industry, the early days are like learning to walk, speak, learn to understand what is going on around itself until they become self sufficient. Their methods evolve to become as efficient and as profitable as possible.

Unfortunately, up to 70% of people who get into NWM leave in their first year. Why does this happen? Well, over the last two years, I have researched this. I felt that there had to be a solution. I discovered not only the problems but I did find the solution as well.

Here are the main problems;

1) A sponsor or upline does not take responsibility for training new people.

2) New people do not take responsibility for their own training.

3) New companies have little to no training.

4) Disgruntled people who have experienced a few bad calls, some, “Oh god you are in that thing?”, decide they have been scammed and leave their business. Did you hear that? They leave THEIR business. The problem here is they really do not take ownership.

But you see there is a blatant theme here, poor, little or no training. By far, this is the reason for the mass of failure in this business sector, regardless of the Company involved.

So, what is the good news?

Fortunately there is a lot of it. I have already pointed out the growth potential. But the real news is that there is a standardized training program, a third party system that will work, no matter what Company you are working with. It has a 20+ year success story.

Did you know that even those naysayers who have been in a NWM company will likely join another one, or two or three? These people actually see that receiving a check every month for a sale you made years ago is a no brainer. Add sales and build that monthly check. Learn the system, help and TEACH others to do the same as you and that check will grow.

But here is the magic.

Once you have trained a few people and they begin training others, and they begin to train even more people, that check begins to not just grow, but spurt and multiply. This is what can happen when you simply focus on helping people become successful. This not only includes the nuts and bolts of the business, but now there are very attractive Bonuses for new business.

And here is the next secret…..

You need to help them in personal growth. Plug them into the myriad of mentors out there both living and passed. Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins are examples. As everyone knows, there are many paths to the top of the mountain. But if you are not putting one foot in front of the other, how can you ever make it to the top?
