About a decade ago a snarky blog opened up called Wonkette. It was a part of the whole Gawker Media family and I have to admit, it was pretty funny at times. My then-girlfriend (now wife) happened to be a staff member on the Hill at the time and on more than one evening we would sit around trying to guess who was the subject of what snarky stories that came out that day.
