These days, many neighborhoods use a website to help neighbors connect immediately with those surrounding them. In one community, members warn one another of mountain lion sightings and wildfire evacuation orders, as well as supply one another with child care when the need arises. It has even proven to be a resource for locating runaway pets. By leveraging the power of the internet, those living near one another are connecting again in ways that are often lost in today’s fast-paced world.
We also decided a few years back to leverage the power of the internet ‘for good’ via the launch of GoodWorks 360° – delivering mission-critical pro bono services to deserving nonprofits around the world, bolstering our longstanding commitment to “moving forward by giving back.”
Although our affiliated site continues to operate as a “stand-alone” venture, we use the immense power of our brand, our global audience, and our massive social media presence to shine a beacon of light on the many nonprofits we’ve collaborated with since launch in October 2018. Along the way, we’ve truly been blessed by ‘virtually’ attracted the services of over four dozen talented professionals, each offering their expertise free of charge for the good of nonprofits in need.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
~Mahatma Gandhi
Inspired by so many kindred spirits, we’ve now taken the next step by now transforming our GoodWorks 360° venture into an actual registered nonprofit (GoodWorks 360° Foundation), poised to continue delivering pro bono services, but complemented by the ability to deliver qualified grants and targeted donations to nonprofits in need:
This added capability will enhance our ability to positively impact the nonprofits we serve while adding credence to the old adage we’ve embraced from day one;
We make a living by what we get – we make a life by what we give.
~Sir Winston Churchill
This is such good news. I’m going to swipe the link and paste it to my website so I can promote it further afield for you. I’m always looking for ways to help people, so if anyone would like my counselling services (for free during these hard times), I’m available. Take a look here: https://www.BewleyTherapy.com – and you’ll see a ‘donate’ button at the bottom of the page, that will take you through to the details.
Thank you Dennis, this is a wonderful idea.

What a thoughtful gesture here, Kaye – thank you! And please don’t hesitate to send us links from your Bewley Therapy blog, as your wisdom within those blogs will resonate with many, particularly during these chaotic times.
I love surrounding myself with people who make me a better human being and YOU, Dennis, are at the top of that list! Excited by all you are up to in the world and I’m so appreciative of the difference you make, to not only me, but to the thousands of lives you touch every day. Thank you for looping all of us in on the GoodWorks that are being done!
Always grateful for your support, Kimberly (it matters) … As quoted within our Article, “We make a living by what we get – we make a life by what we give.” –and that is exactly what we are experiencing every step of the way, as our lives have been so enriched by witnessing the remarkable “outcomes” delivered by so many passionate nonprofits…
