Get Off My Back!

Gumshoe was in a text discussion with two of his brothers recently and we were texting about punishment.  Just punishment for political leaders who could be considered murderers for their criminal policies.

Policies that such leaders who mandated the placement of confirmed COVID-19 case-patients inside of nursing homes that assured the death of the otherwise healthy but helpless elderly residents who were indeed a captive audience. These leaders as well as their sycophants hid behind “the science” as their pitiful defense.  Their goal was to in gain additional power and control through fear at the cost of the lives of the most vulnerable.

No personal responsibility was taken for the deaths.  No apology to the families who lost a beloved member.  One leader callously remarked, “Who cares if they died in a hospital, or a nursing home? They died.”  Gumshoe believes that this leader has a standing and confirmed front row seating in hell.

Where is the accountability? Where is justice?  MIA on both counts.  Yes, sometimes the guilty and the culpable go free in the here and now.

Gumshoe hears the distant echoes of the “good” Nazis who claimed in their hollow defense, “We were just following orders”.  Hmmm? Humanity, verboten. Gumshoe thinks that all of these “good” Nazis still clung to this “defenseless” defense in their fevered brains even up to the very instant when the gallows trap door sprung open. Necks broken and stretched as they unceremoniously dropped into eternity.   They all ultimately landed into the hands of a just and angry God who probably did not accept the “just following orders excuse”.   So be it!  Their “Seig heils!” in the kingdom of Hell are probably excruciatingly loud, Gumshoe surmises.  These tortured accolades are gleefully heard to the immense delight of a new “Der Fuhrer”, amen!

Gumshoe later contemplated today’s concept of avoiding justice for such persons who covertly (or even overtly) pulled the strings of power that led to the slaughter of the innocent.  Nursing homes for sure during the pandemic. Some of you may think of abortion clinics as well.  The culture of death lives.

Murder is murder no matter how it is hidden or how it is inflicted.  Complicity in the murder (no matter how remote) is no defense, period.

The term, “Quockerwodger” came to mind.  A British term for a toy that was animated by a pull-string.  This term soon became synonymous for a politician.  No big surprise there folks.  A parade of useful idiots and talking heads to justify their unjust actions.  People died and they lied. Gumshoe entertained a few moments of un-Christian reverie for the proper comeuppance to these Gumshoe-coined  “Pontius Pilate” political murderers on the scene and the ones behind the scene.

You see that in ancient Roman times, some of the emperors would order the corpse of the murdered victim to be tied to the back of the murderer. Under the penalty of death, no one was allowed to remove the decaying and disease-ridden body from the back of the condemned.  Cruel and vicious, some of you gentle readers will gasp?  Sure, but it was visible and certainly absolute.  The murderers bore the brunt of their evil act to their dying breath.

Well, now when any of you folks hear that expression uttered in frustration, “Get off my back!”, you just might think of those “Quockerwodgers” who will in time join that hellish chorus of “good Nazis” shouting out eternal “Seig heils!”

Okay now folks, Gumshoe has now returned from his morbid reverie and back to some semblance of Christian civility.  Thank God!

Gumshoe reminds all of you fine folks to always love the ones who love you and even try to love the ones who don’t.

Coram Deo!

PS:  Pray for these “Dead people walking”.  God help them and us as well.

  1. Here’s what I don’t get. Most of the people who are for abortions are the same ones who protest the death penalty. So I guess it’s alright to rip the unborn (through no fault of their own) from the womb but don’t execute the individual(s) responsible for homicides. The way I see it God will definitely figure it out. One more comment on the Governor of NY who sentenced those 15,000 resident’s of nursing homes to death. I have an Aunt in Upstate NY who is currently in a nursing home and has been there through COVID. Fortunately the nursing home she resides in refused any patients that had COVID. The Biden Democratic DOJ has refused to open an investigation. Hopefully the voters will make sure that he does not serve another term.

    • I with you my brother. It is definitely the culture of death who attack the most vulnerable of our society. Lady Justice must be sleeping while there is a leftest thumb on the scales. Thanks again Tom for your timely comment.

  2. As always a unique and interesting article and great words to ponder. In my way of understanding those that seek the justice in a liberal way will receive their justice in the way that God intended; for those that do not follow the Commandments, which you cannot say are ridiculous, because if you read the 10 Commandments they apply to every days actions to those that follow moral law.

    • Your so right Linnie. Love God and love your neighbor. That’s the way, the truth and the life! Thanks for your comment.

  3. We would all like to see justice meeted out in this life, but it doesn’t always happen that way. However, justice will be handed down in some future existence and we have to settle for that. I think there may be a special place in Hell for those that claim to be Christian and yet support mass abortions.

    • Yes indeed Ken. In my book, the “counterfeit Christians” are worse than the pagans. Once one knows the truth and walks away from it, there is hell to pay! Thanks for your comment.

  4. Justice, in all likelihood, will not be administered this side of heaven (or hell), but will ultimately occur. The death of thousands of the elderly is horrible, but pales in comparison to the on-going homicide of millions of the unborn via abortion. Politicians…..those who support them……and anyone else who is complicit in these murders will answer for their sins one day as they face the ultimate Judge (unless they repent and turn to Christ – who paid the price for even the most heinous of sinners).
