In the search for work and career development it is essential to know one’s own skills, values and aspirations, but in particular personality traits that influence our choices and behaviors in the professional field. The awareness of one’s personality characteristics can have a strong impact in terms of satisfaction and performance at work, allowing one to orientate towards a profession more closely related not only to one’s own skills, but also to one’s own inclinations and desires and toward companies with values and behaviors compatible with ours.
This is so true. In particular the last sentence where you speak about the alignment with an employers values and behaviours. When that exists employee satisfaction soars as does retention. Thanks for the insightful response.
