“Stand up for what you believe in, find support and keep focused. Health and happiness really is a choice. Spend time in nature, connect with your inner self, and trust in the process.”

EB: You have a burning desire for life and the power we all hold within. Tell me more about this!
HL: After having thought my life was over, that I would never be able to feel good ever again, or do what I loved, everything changed. I realized that not only was life magical at any stage, I was the one holding the key to my own experience. I was the one that had to step up and take charge. I was the one I had been waiting for.
Through my own journey and life, I grew an inside passion for life, that helped me find my purpose and mission. What I see in my work as a Health and Success Coach is nothing but magical. Once people realize the power we all hold within, everything changes. The general outlook and life, the mindset, all leading to a fuller more satisfying life on all levels.
EB: What caused you to become a Health and Success Coach?
HL: Life took me there, would be the shortest answer. The longest one would be my first book From HELL to Inspired, which is the whole story on how I went from what I perceived as hell, to living my dream and purpose. I went from simply living my life, like everyone else, minding my own, stress and work, children, husband, car, and house, to falling apart physically. Like so many of us do.
Then, after years of not feeling well, being diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lyme and Ulcers, I went through years of being medicated, hospitals, suffering, and heartache. I thought my life was over. I wanted my life to be over. I was so done not feeling well, so sick and tired of being sick and tired. At the very moment, I decided to stop all medications, that I would lie down and let one of two things happen.
- Either I died, or
- I found a way to get healthy, I knew nothing would ever be the same.
I went all in. I felt I had nothing to lose.
When I realized I had a choice, that there were other solutions out there, that nature was perfect and health was natural, I started to study. I studied everything. The why and the how, and I experimented for years, to be able to turn around my own life. Once I started seeing my life changing, I was shown the path of being a Coach and was constantly helping others, guiding, and inspiring them. I got my certification as a Health and Success Coach as a part of my own learning curve, and added hours and other schools to it as I went along.
Becoming a Certified Detox Specialist is what changed my work the most. It has brought me to a place of compassion and humbleness, to be able to walk alongside those who are in need of radical change and joy in their lives.
I get very enthusiastic about inspiring people to find their passion and sense of inner power. Without it, we feel disconnected to ourselves and our lives. My purpose showed itself to me through my own experience, and I have never looked back. I see my reason why every single day in my clients through their change, their successes, and gratitude. It is a humbling profession, and I am forever grateful to be able to contribute in this way.
EB: You are a teacher of disease-free living. How do you bring your teachings to others who may want to be healthy and vibrant, and how do you define disease-free living?
HL: I share my teachings through many different channels. Being a Coach, I am able to be a part of my client`s journey and to teach them how to not only reclaim their health but to live a strong and empowered life. Not only do I offer one-on-one consultations, I also work closely with my clients, on a monthly basis.
Close followup and support ensures success. The internet enables me to work with people from all over the world, through skype and other platforms. The world is becoming smaller, as we become closer.
I love to write, and by sharing articles online, and having my own Power-up-blog lets me connect with my readers in a continuous way. Writing has always been one of my passions in life.
I am also hired to speak to larger audiences on topics like detoxification, raw food, No more Bullshit, Empowered Living, Growing free and thriving. I have published three books: From Hell to Inspired, Know the Truth and Get Healthy, and No more Bullshit. Together they are reaching many who want to learn and experience optimal health.
I also have an online teaching course, a private membership site, and am very present on Social Media. My YouTube channel was created so that anyone can feel inspired to take charge of their lives.
Just an hour ago, I was writing practice questions for some students about the inner critic. (You know, that nasty voice in your head that is always telling you look foolish and will fail.) One exercise is to write a letter to yourself on what your inner critic is saying to you. Help your inner critic build a strong case. Then you write a response letter to your inner critic, thanking them for all of its support during your life and make it clear to your inner critic what messages you will and will not be listening to.
Very therapeutic. I personally never did the writing exercise. I just did it by looking myself in a mirror.
Chris, both exercises are a great way to remove the self-saboteur and be more present. Thanks for sharing!
Great interview Eileen. Our inner strength and power is what fuels to greater engagement and more possibilities.
Thank you Larry! I agree with you 100%….
