PRIMARY HOST GUIDELINES
- Primary Hosts (Dennis/Melissa/Mac/Paul) take the baton sequentially throughout the year (every 4th week). Unavoidable conflict with your scheduled Hosting week? ––Simply swap with another Host. And if you just can’t work it out, I will always step up to take your week.
- Join Dennis in promoting your scheduled Hosting Session(s) on LinkedIn comfortably in advance of your scheduled session, tagging your fellow Hosts (and any Special Guest Co-Hosts).
- Please relay your planned discussion topic to Dennis no later than Tuesday same week for supplemental promotion by 360° Nation & to develop closing quote(s).
- Our 360° NATION Meeting Room will always be open 15 minutes prior to our scheduled 11:30 AM EST Start time. Please join early to welcome our friends, particularly newcomers.
- Bring your tribe = more friends, more voices, more diversity.
- Bring a Special Guest Co-Host = more friends, more voices, more diversity.
- Show up as often as you can to support your fellow Hosts during your non-scheduled weeks.
DISCUSSION FORMAT
- Less Presentation/More Conversation (e.g. avoid slideshows, anything promotional, etc.).
- Start on Time / Welcome Everyone (even latecomers)
- Make sure everyone is individually welcomed, particularly newcomers. Encourage all to place their LinkedIn URL in Chat Stream if they’d like to connect with everyone.
- Invite folks to reach out to any of us if they would like to bring a topic as a co-host.
- Set the stage for your Discussion (If you have a Guest Co-Host, introduce/let them set the stage).
- Share one or more open-ended questions with the group (insert all questions in Chat Stream).
- Encourage everyone to use RAISE HAND Emoticon when wishing to speak.
- Follow Chat Stream comments and use to stoke further discussion.
- Do your best to engage everyone.
- Reel in long-winded dissertations to preserve equal time for all.
- Breakout Rooms (use & length of) entirely at discretion of Host. If used, make sure each Room nominates someone to bring highlights to back to the main session.
- Keep the flow loose, fun, engaging for all.
- Conclude Discussion/Pass back to Dennis at 12:25PM for closing comments & quote(s).
