Successful entrepreneurs are naturally solution oriented. Successful entrepreneurs understand that challenges are simply part of the process. They effectively deal with challenges and find solutions, and if they can’t find the solution, they create one. This is such an important mindset to develop to have success in any area of life, yet so many have never taken the time, or, have the desire to develop it. This is one of the things that separates success from failure in life and in business.
Unsuccessful entrepreneurs come across the same type of challenges, and give in to those challenges using them as an excuse. Without developing the mindset of being solution oriented, these entrepreneurs fail and don’t recognize it is not the challenge, it is their unwillingness to find a solution that is the issue.
It isn’t just entrepreneurs that must be solution oriented. It is a skill and a mindset that serves us in every single aspect of life.

Relationships – Without being solution oriented, when challenges come up in relationships, it leads to blame, disrespect, arguments, struggle. These relationships could be family, friends, co-workers and employers.
Heath & Fitness – When challenges come up in our health and fitness, those that are not solution oriented find excuses why they can’t eat properly or stick to an exercise routine, or find answers to their health concerns. Many will go down the road of unnecessary illness because they are not willing to find solutions and take personal responsibility for their health.
Work – The employee that is not solution oriented is waiting for someone else to find solutions. This leads to disengagement, poor employee performance, employee stress and frustration, lost clientele, lack of teamwork, and an attitude that it is someone else’s problem. This will cost an employee in terms of advancement potential, better wages, and at a very basic level, those that are not solution oriented will not even GET the job in the first place.[/message][su_spacer]
Everything seems to go wrong for these individuals. They blame employers, government, and anyone that they come in contact with. They don’t recognize THEY are the common denominator in every single situation.
