In 1925, Langston Hughes, an aspiring writer working as a busboy at a hotel, discovered that a poet he admired (Vachel Lindsey) was staying there as a guest. Hughes shyly slipped Lindsey some of his own poetry, which Lindsey later praised enthusiastically at a public reading. Lindsey’s encouragement resulted in Hughes receiving a university scholarship, furthering him on his way to his own successful writing career. A little encouragement can go a long way.
We’re always looking for more writers –both experienced AND aspiring wishing to hone their craft. Our global community loves to receive actionable inspiration for a better life and a better world. All things considered, we simply publish “good stuff”. Stuff that’s timeless. Maybe it’s a poem. Maybe it’s a story. Maybe it’s fact. Maybe it’s fiction. Maybe it’s a poem. Maybe it’s just 50 words or maybe it’s 2,000 words. Maybe it’s about life. Maybe it’s about culture. Maybe it’s about business. Maybe it’s just something you were inspired to scribble on the back of a napkin this morning. To us, it’s all good stuff worth sharing again and again. So when in doubt, just send it over. But first, learn a little more ABOUT US.

You will write if you will write without thinking of the result in terms of a result, but think of the writing in terms of discovery, which is to say that creation must take place between the pen and the paper, not before in a thought or afterwards in a recasting… It will come if it is there and if you will let it come.
–Gertrude Stein

This is an amazing website which gives so many who want to write and then go for it, the opportunity to do so. Dennis and Ali, Bizcatalyst360 has made an impact on my joy to write what I feel. Thank you both. I have three projects waiting in the wings, in the world of storytelling, and although I have not written one lately, I know where to go when I do!
Grateful for your kind words, Lynn – thank you!
A magnificent read your post is, Dennis.
Loved the hotel busboy story. The butterfly effect of small acts of encouragement is well proven in this story.
It is interesting for me to read the quote you shared “You will write if you will write without thinking of the result in terms of a result, but think of the writing in terms of discovery…” by Gertrude Stein/
This is the theme of the post that I submitted to you today on “The pH Meter of Thinking”.
I am glad that my thinking is close to yours.
Your writing is both unique and impactful my friend, as it expands our curiosity and imagination in directions that few people travel. Good for us, good for them. And good for the soul. Always grateful to have you as one of our premier Columnists and Featured Contributors, my friend.
💯Dennis .. you have built an awesome site, community and channel here. Proud … nay HONORED … to be part of it. Going to try write more for you this year – without fear and PLENTY of edits 🙂
Thank you, John. We’re simply the orchestra conductors my friend – blessed with the opportunity to share the music authored by so many talented folks like you. We look forward to more of your masterpieces, my friend.
There is no other platform so inclusive, stimulating, available where it is possible to freely share thoughts, impressions, stories, aspirations, reflections with so many talented people. You feel a greater satisfaction than that which can be found in publishing a book: here you have real-time contact.
Dennis has done, and continues to do, an amazing job.
Grateful for your kind words always, my friend Aldo, and for your everyday presence… Happy New Year!
Admire the CALL. Motivator for me
Thank you, Vinod!
I am amazed at Larry’s story’s and others. There are so many talented writers here and I am in awe to be part of such a wonderful platform. I really feel at home here. My gratitude to Dennis Pitocco for accepting me as a featured cintributer and Larry for having faith in me and my writing. Its a wonderful place to share and grow.
Quite simply (giving your inspired writing), you “belong here”, Eva Marie …
I will repeat this: One day many years ago a man named Dennis Pitocco asked me to write a story for his group. He opened up a wellspring of stories that have never stopped. He opened the door to possibilities and changed my life and awakened my stories. Thank you, my dear friend.
It’s been a remarkable ride and your amazing storytelling has inspired so many, my friend. Keep it comin’ …
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write for Bizcatalyst360 so many tears ago. I had aspirations toward my own byline, but reality has a way of showing up.
It seems like you have scores of writers with limitless potential to fill pages of the website. I appreciate being tagged when you share articles you know I will like. I fail miserably at interacting these days and I apologize for that.
Your award winning website is more of an incubator for authors, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Your content appeals to anyone because of the variety. You encourage and inspire and motivate and influence like nobody else on the planet.
Simply grateful for your presence practically from day one, my friend. The door for your writing will always be wide open, whenever inspiration surfaces!
You are very kind. Thank you for offering to keep the door open.

And we (along with our global community) are so very grateful for that wellspring, my friend. Keep em’ comin’
Larry, you are an excellent storyteller. I was amazed that you were a manager, probably a high stress job, and you wrote consistently even then. You and someone else even collaborated on articles. You’re amazing!
