Emerging Trends In Health Industry: Top Trends For You

The world is changing. Always and everywhere! New trends are emerging in the world of business, marketing, technology, sports, etc. Health industry is no exception. People are starting to realize how important it is to know what they eat and where their food comes from. People are starting to take better care of their bodies. This is surely a positive change that brought many health innovations with it. Let’s take a look at more prominent ones that will spark your interest.

Chrono diet

You have probably heard of this diet. In 2018, it really started picking up some steam. Many folks who were suffering from obesity turned to chrono diet back then. And, many claim that it helped a lot. This diet is still relatively new and it’s worth considering. Chrono diet is based on a rule that you have to eat certain types of food in certain designated timeframes. Chrono relies on the daily rhythm of our bodies. During the day our body secrets certain hormones and enzymes to digest food. For example, in the morning our bodies produce insulin, so it’s important to avoid the intake of sugar in the morning. Other processes happen midway through the day and in the evening. Chrono diet will teach you when and what you need to eat. By utilizing on the processes in our bodies, this diet provides a solution when it comes to the proper dietary strategy.

Keto diet

This is yet another diet that became relatively popular in 2018. The ketogenic diet or keto diet is a diet that revolves around low-carb intake. The goal here is to make your body enter the state of ketosis. The body needs to switch from burning glucose for fuel to burning fat. Of course, the body doesn’t only burn fat but it also burns its by-products (ketones), hence the name of this diet. Keto dieters praise this strategy for its weight loss benefits. The only difficult part about this diet is the period when body starts adapting to new ‘source of fuel’. People experience fatigue, weakness and nausea. This is understandable since the body needs some time to adapt to changes. How long does it take to get into ketosis? How many carbs can you eat? If you’re asking yourself this, you’re already interested in keto.

Ayurveda

This may be a long shot but it seems like everyone’s concerned about the health of mind, body and soul nowadays. Wherever you look online, you can find lifestyle gurus, yogis, motivational speakers, etc. Even though most of them are only trying to sell you something, there are people who come up with something real and useful. For example, people are reviving an old practice called Ayurveda. This practice comes from India and its focal point is that humans are made of five elements from the universe: air, fire, space, water and earth. These make three life forces in our bodies: Vata, Pita and Kapha. The goal here is to establish a balance of these forces or emphasize one of them according to your needs. For example, some folks use this practice to determine what foods they should be eating to get the most from their bodies. Interesting, right?

Tabata training

This is certainly for all of you out there who love working out and working out intensely. Dr. Tabata from Japan created this training in 1996. It is a high intensity interval training that includes exercises that last up to four minutes. Basically, the system goes something like this. You need to work out hard for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 and complete eight rounds of the given exercise. Once you’ve been doing this for four minutes you need to take one minute to rest. The goal here is to increase the number of heart beats. The more you sweat the better. People who don’t really have time for gyms and other places where you can work out adore Tabata training.

Summary

In order to have a healthy body and live a healthy life you have to think about everything that has something to do with your body and mind. Eating healthy, having healthy habits and being happy, well, that’s the key to a long and quality life. It’s your turn to decide how you will get that key.
