WE DON'T DO IT ALL, BUT WE DO IT ALL "FOR GOOD"

BE PART OF THE LEGACY

TAMPA BAY • FEBRUARY 23-24 2026

This FINAL encore experience will be unlike any other. Because like everything we do, it's been "reimagined" from beginning to end. It's not a virtual or hybrid event. It's not a conference. It's not a seminar, a workshop, a meeting, or a symposium. And it's not your typical run-of-the-mill everyday event crammed with stages, keynote speeches, team-building exercises, PowerPoint presentations, and all the other conventional humdrum. Because it's up close & personal by design. Where conversation trumps presentation. And where authentic connection runs deep.

Do You Live in The Matrix?

As I have written about elsewhere, my father explained his decision to trust people (unless they had already proven themselves unworthy of such trust) with, that people generally didn’t like if you treated them like they could neither think for themselves nor had any moral compass.

It appears that we humans have a proclivity for reciprocity.  Hence, if you signaled trust, most would want to be trustworthy, competent, and conscientious. If you signaled the opposite: well, chance was that you would still get what you expected – which was then not very much.  To reuse Henry Ford’s words: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.”  Can trust, that is.

Within the group of people with whom I often find myself these days, this reasoning is taken one step further: if we think intensely about a subject, it shows up through more or less obvious signals in our outer and inner worlds.  Where dad’s explanation involved the self-identity, pride, and gut-feelings of the people with whom we have dealings, this next level explanation seems to work through seeding the Universe with our thought vibrations – and the frequency with which we address our desires/ ideas/ relationships influences the speed, intensity, and nature of the Universe’s response.

I don’t know about you, but the more I react/ respond on LinkedIn, the more I am fed posts and conversations that align with what I have reacted/ responded to.  This is referred to as an algorithm: coded rules that determine that we are fed the type of content or the connections’ reactions/ interactions that seem to engage us the most.

Seeing this parallel between how Social Media algorithms work and what my connections tell me is one of the basic principles of energy behavior in the Universe, I have for a little while been pondering if/how to write a piece about this subject – not really knowing how to phrase it because I know very little about the theory of Universal laws.  Yet, if I asked, perhaps they would answer?

By the logic of these Universal laws, by repetitive thinking about this question I have now seeded the Universe with it as well.

Come Christmas, we had the children visiting, and one invited us to watch The Matrix together, the 1999 movie suggesting that what we see as reality is really…

I have yet to decide whether to write a dream or a piece of computer code written by Artificial Intelligence on the other side of Singularity – the point when computers become self-aware (and consequently – and actually rather reasonably – don’t want to be shut down by comparatively less intelligent minions such as you and me.)

So, 1) QED?  What was the chance that kiddo – of all movies to watch for Christmas – would suggest The Matrix?  Is this one of these “more or less obvious signals in our outer world” that we should pay attention to?  For now, it prompted me to get the conundrum out of my head and into a document.

2) Does the Universe “run” on a really big and complicated algorithm with ever faster cycle times?  It seems that these signs arrive “by express mail” more often.

3) What is the energy source feeding the Universe?  Hope? Love? Curiosity? Trust?  Or/and on the trifecta of fear, anger, and greed?   Do I experience different response times for those thoughts seeded based on the former rather than the latter?

4) Perhaps I should mention that as I finished writing, Zen Benefiel shared a video about consciousness as a form of transmittable energy.

Is this one more of these “more or less obvious signals in our outer world” that we should pay attention to?

It is a “dangerous” world out there; if you open your heart you risk learning something new.

  1. Charlotte – You raised an interesting question about the Universe’s algorithm. To wit, does it feed us what we seek? My go-to source on a lot of things, 🟦 Melissa Hughes, Ph.D., has noted that the brain will see what we want it to see. If we’re looking for a red car, we’ll soon start to see red cars. We’ve simply become attuned to seeing what’s always there. So, does our mind function like a computer algorithm?

Was your kids’ suggestion to watch The Matrix – never had the pleasure – an example of the Universe’s algorithm, or by another name, coincidence.? See: https://www.queticocoaching.com/blog/258-how-to-understand-and-benefit-from-meaningful-coincidences

I can’t prove it, but I think there’s something to these types of coincidences. If we’re open to them, the Universe feeds us in an adaptation of “Build it, and they will come.” What we do with those coincidences, well, that gets into serendipity territory.

    • I loved that episode when you first aired it, Jeff, thank you for connecting the dots and putting the link here. What stood out for me was the notion that we can look as these synchronicities as “interesting and entertaining” or we can attribute meaning to them as a sign that we are looking in the right places for whatever our path is.

As for brain/AI it is called neural networks for a reason. Alas, they focus on the part of the brain that is the least important: our ability to regurgitate and combine data. But perhaps that can set us free to spend more time using our other faculties?
