I won’t wait or hesitate to Frolic with madness and Disport.
I will enjoy myself without restraint
as butterflies bring a healthy time of reprieve.
The moon knows of the waiting.
The stars glow, anticipating.
One day soon the chains shall break
and I will dance into the street.
Perhaps the rain will come
or snow or fog or sleet.
Travel once again to places never been.
Live free inside the cloak of warmth beneath my feet.
No more question of how long this virus shall go on.
Today smart men and women forge ahead to keep us strong.
Shadows of unknown have covered planet earth.
Time is precious now to know our very worth.
If perhaps, the days, pass to a night of fade;
remember all you learned;
how well you lived and loved and played.
how well you lived and loved and played…… Indeed my dear poet.
Larry, Thank You my Dear Friend!
“how well you lived, loved and played”
Fabulous ending Cindy!
Thank you for this poetic encouragement
Happy November!
Thank you Paula! I appreciate your kindness always. Yes, let’s hope for a lot to be thankful for as November begins.
