A DECADE+ OF STORYTELLING POWERED BY THE BEST WRITERS ON THE PLANET

BE PART OF THE LEGACY

TAMPA BAY • FEBRUARY 23-24 2026

This FINAL encore experience will be unlike any other. Because like everything we do, it's been "reimagined" from beginning to end. It's not a virtual or hybrid event. It's not a conference. It's not a seminar, a workshop, a meeting, or a symposium. And it's not your typical run-of-the-mill everyday event crammed with stages, keynote speeches, team-building exercises, PowerPoint presentations, and all the other conventional humdrum. Because it's up close & personal by design. Where conversation trumps presentation. And where authentic connection runs deep.

Devotion in Innovation – A Sheer Disruption

Once a Master was telling a story of his pet dog, whom he adored most. He used to take care of him passionately and provided him with healthy delicious food. The pet was equally fond of its master. Actually, occasional whipping was the prime reason for the dog to become so docile to his master. He cannot share his pain and sufferings with his master when he was beaten up wildly by his master. But, his master indulged himself to be enveloped with a cloud of fantasy that his pet was equally obsessed with him and only eager to listen to “His Master’s Voice”!

The unconditional slavery being intentionally ignored by the master what the master enjoyed and it was the sole reason for the master too, to be obsessed with his pet too. We human traditionally reared animals and we love to explore their kingdom to devastate their own domain and make them prey to our fancy and caprice and when they make a shrill cry to express their agony and entity as well craving for survival, we resemble ourselves with the attribute which almost a rhetoric to us and comfortably resort to without any shame that, “Nero fiddles while Rome burns”.

Combating against nature and making it amenable to us is an inherent quality which we humans alone possess and as a result of it, humans became superior out of all creatures in nature’s lap. To make a hostile situation into a favorable one, humans devised technology, and by virtue of science and technology, human civilization reached its paramountcy. Today, technology has changed the entire world human beings unfortunately being enslaved by their own devices for their own convenience and being caught in their own net by the web they alone made! Technology eventually enslaved the entire world and virtual is now dominating the real world.

The onset of the recent pandemic which has largely eclipsed the entire world out of nature’s abrupt stoke made the whole human community vulnerable, inducing people to confine themselves in their own habitat.

Here, technology, the only means of communication once more emerges vibrantly.  The paralyzed world is stimulated and accelerated by only technology, not wholly but substantially.

During the pandemic, a few terminologies became popular across the globe. Lockdown, Quarantine, Social-distancing, Night curfew, Self-isolation, etc., has impacted people by and large. It impacted almost adversely and made a clear dichotomy in our available social fabric. One, who used to work based on technology, having a fair chance to work from home, while in the labor-intensive productive arena, precisely in the developing nations, the working people are forced to walk for their respective home, leaving their workplace without prior notice. They had to face a huge mess as there was not adequate facility of transport and other means of technology which can ensure them to reach their home safely! The job surprisingly snatched away from people and the economy of a country suffered badly owing to the onslaught of nature’s abrupt rage.

In this fatal global scenario, only a handful of Entrepreneurs’ and big business houses gained huge profit, while medium and small-scale businessmen reached the verge of extinction. Managerial skills, innovative measures did not work for them to suffice. On the other hand, ‘Providence brings Opulence’ only to a few techno-based industries where online work could be possible. Pandemic appeared as a boon to them. For offline workers, it is sheer bane. Across the world, the declaration of war against the invisible virus so intensely occupied the majority of us that we cannot visualize how briskly few businesses are making huge profits.

On contrary, there is not much financial as well another form of assistance being rendered by the government to the majority of the workforce whose plight and misery are literarily untold and even perhaps tangible for the few privileged class.

Ultimately, we the large common mass, who are nowadays helplessly surrendered to technology and are just mere slave to it, having no other option apart from following the signals of our ‘New Masters’ and thus upholding their glory, not heeding how technology favoring few handful to amass huge wealth within a brief history of time!

The fallout from the pandemic not only paving huge job loss, at the same time people are forced to get inflicted with numerous designs which are affecting our social life. Precisely, the children and women are becoming the worst victims. Domestic violence silently reaching to its height and children are largely ignored and neglected. They are forced to depend on technology and confined to indoor activity, where their mental growth is suffering a lot. Online classes and isolation taking a huge toll to their natural activity and these online classes are devised where there is not much difference in terms of the mentioned “Pet” at the beginning of the story and how it was trained.

Will they make any different gestures apart from silently and unconditionally following the dictum of their masters? Is it innovation or simply decimation of human values and ethos, paving the way for becoming human as social animals, devoid of rationality? Are we focusing to create more institutions to manufacture and nurture mere Masters, not managers?

I Debasish Majumder, hailing from Kolkata, State: West Bengal, Country: India, born in a middle-class family in the year 1965 and brought up in an environment extremely favorable for me to garner knowledge from people from various walks of life. Their lives and livelihood are of immense gravity to me as I considered myself as a fortunate one to be facilitated to interact with those who possessed multi-faceted experience and thrived vigorously in their respective fields. Since my schooling as well the path of my studies till I completed my graduation in humanities and thereafter working in various organizations has enabled me to get hands-on experience about the twist and turns of life where I observed the plight of myriad who are economically vulnerable and how they combat the life and even capable to enjoy the every drop of it without complaining about their state. Since my childhood, my passion for the English language and English literature enabled me to explore the world in and around me out of fabulous authors and their valuable renditions which even unveiled front of me the true picture of nature and how it is now confronting peril out of greedy few sharks in the veil of few humans obliterating the very essence of humane! Their works encouraged me to pen down articles, short stories, and poems with my little ability and I have already had a number of paperback editions of my compilation of short stories and poems which are now available on Amazon and other global sites. My alacrity for learning regarding nature as well the society along with the people who are considered as the most precious imperative for us to be enriched. I am blessed by innumerable notable thinkers and philosophers whose works appealed to me enormously, and even helped me to shape up myself by virtue of their expressions. I am having little capacity to translate the reflections of the present society, precisely for the acumen of a myriad of learned persons who have helped me to widen my vista with their wisdom and wide array of knowledge. My sincere effort was navigated by those enlightened persons and I tried with my best of ability to reflect on the scenario I have observed in the journey of my life.
