WE TOSS THE TERM “class” around pretty freely, but do we really have a definition of that? Is class something that is universally understood or is that something that we define individually?
She is a classy lady, or that man has class. What does that really mean? Is it the way a person carries themselves, or how they dress, or their general demeanor? It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with money. It doesn’t always relate to good manners, or even being civil. I’ve know people that could cut a person to shreds verbally, but they still had class in doing it.
So what makes up your definition of a person with class? What do you consider classy? Is class something that is going the way of the dodo bird in today’s high tech and fast paced world?
