COVID 19 – Daily Drive Day 6: Community Wellbeing

–Managing what you think, say, and do

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”

~Henry Ford

As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone. -Galatians 6:10

Today, perhaps think about this,

Be Appreciative with Goodness because no matter where you live, you live in a community with others.

Gallup defines Community Wellbeing the sense of engagement you have with the area where you live; the fifth of five essential elements of wellbeing & living a flourishing life.

Jesus is a perfect example of spending time, talking, and hanging out, with all sorts of people. He went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching and healing every disease and affliction. He took the time to invest in other’s lives. His goodness was one reason people were drawn to Him. -Matthew 9:10-13, 35

Today, how would you answer the following questions, evaluate your level of community wellbeing:

  • In what ways is my community a good fit for my personality?
  • What does my community offer that is a good fit for my family?
  • What interests do I have that I can participate in within the community I live?
  • Who are some individuals within my community I enjoy and spend time with?

Action step:

Today share with 1-3 people within your community one reason you are thankful for their place in your life, contributing your community wellbeing.

Blessings to having a heart and mind of peace,

Sara
