Chinese New Year 2018: Who Let The Dogs Out? (Part 3)

“The signs of the zodiac are karmic patterns; the planets are the looms; the will is the weaver.”

~Edgar Cayce

In Part One of this article, we discovered how past President Bill Clinton and present President Donald Trump are both Fire Dogs but only one of them is a Dog President in a Dog year and that affects their personality. And, only one of them does not have a dog, and why.

In Part 2 we explored the Differences and Similarities Between the Chinese and Western Zodiac and took A Sneak Peek at What Finances, Love, and Dreams Hold for You in 2018, for the Rat and Ox.

In this article, we will explore the third, fourth and fifth Chinese Zodiac signs for 2018.

Are you, or someone you work with or love a Tiger, Rabbit, or Dragon? Learning about these signs and what to expect from people who live them may make for a more successful year in finance, love, and dreams.

3rd Chinese Zodiac Sign-Tiger (Western Zodiac Gemini)- born in the years: 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1998, 2010. You can expect the Dog year to be a very good year for you, especially at the beginning of the year. Projects you undertake will prosper. The best advice anyone can give you is to have confidence in yourself. While other people in the dog year may do best to think before they leap into a project you are different. You should move ahead without asking yourself too many questions because you may talk yourself out of success. If you hesitate you run the risk of missing out on opportunity when it knocks.
Finance: If you are involved in media, telecommunication, investment market or information technology industries you may find your career to be on shaky ground due to sudden growth and shifts in technology and companies. This may make you feel like your career is on the decline, but this challenge will correct itself. You may want to seek a second source of income until things settle down financially. Be flexible.
Love: Open your eyes and behold the beautiful being that surrounds you. They are perfect in their imperfection. This can be a very satisfactory time for you if you are in a relationship and living with someone as a couple. This year will be marked with sensuality and intellectual complicity. If you are not in a relationship this year will be the turning point for an important encounter that will happen very naturally. This year holds your love story filled with joy.
Dreams: The primary meaning of the tiger spirit animal in dreams is willpower. Poet William Blake wrote as part of the Songs of Experience collection, “Tyger, Tyger, burning bright, in the forests of the night.” Old relationships that still burn bright within your psyche will play themselves out in recurrent dreams. Look for the nuggets of golden wisdom, write them in a journal to remember them, then use that knowledge as an opportunity to change the dream’s ending and change your life. Try out new dream solutions to old love-life challenges.
4th Chinese Zodiac Sign-Rabbit (Western Zodiac Cancer)- born in these years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011. It will be neither a good nor bad year for the rabbit. Be careful not to jump around too much in your business ventures and the outlook will be good. As a rabbit, you have a natural psychic side to your inner guidance. Listen to it because this year may be marked with some tense moments financially that may affect your relationships. In order to keep up your work stamina for the fast-paced Dog year, it would be in your best interest to adopt a well-balanced lifestyle of sufficient sleep and healthy diet. Whenever possible take your work outside into the fresh air. You spend too much time indoors.
Finance: Beware of greed. Do not dwell on your past achievements to the point that they become the downfall of your future success. Learn from your mistakes but don’t let them rule you with fear. Adapt to market changes and demands. You may find yourself in a position of advancement that may result in a bonus.
Love: This may be the year you find your twin-soul; The two of you will be matched in all things romantic and physical. Your love life will evolve into an atmosphere marked with sensuality and increased passion. If you are already in a relationship you may find yourself attracted to a new lover. This is a time to live your love in the present and try not to allow your thoughts to jump into the future. Build a good relationship foundation that goes beyond the physical. If you are not in a relationship this is the year you may find someone with a very precious heart in your professional sphere. Although you know it is not a good idea to become involved romantically with someone at work, it may be beyond your control and love at first sight.
Dreams: As a rabbit, you are a symbol of quickening spirituality. You are the epitome of intuitive peace and kindness. Think of the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland as it quickly runs from one dream scene to the next muttering, “I’m late, I’m late!” Remember, that you are always exactly where you must be at that exact time and cannot be anywhere else, even in your dreams. The Dog year will give you fast shifting dreams of novelty and change. Use their guidance to anticipate change. Write down your dreams so you can bring them into your waking world to make the correct life-shifts necessary for peace of mind.
5th Chinese Zodiac Sign-Dragon (Western Zodiac Leo)- born in the years: 1040, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012. This is not a good year for you to travel. If you must travel be careful. The year of the Dog will see you becoming more sure of yourself and your decision-making skills. These new qualities will be acknowledged by your peers, colleagues, and superiors. This “new you” will be more outgoing in your personal life and career. Be cautious about embracing over radical positions, thoughts, and tendencies. Your word for 2018 is moderation.
Finances: Do not overspend. It could have a domino effect that will touch your personal life. Before you make a big purchase ask yourself if you really need it. 2018 will be a year of finalizing some long-awaited deals. You will recover some monies your thought lost in previous deals.
Love: If you are married or committed this year promises to be a happy period. Your biggest challenge will be communication. If you cannot explain your love and devotion in conversation then use actions, which speak louder than words. If you are single this year is going to be your year of flirtation. You may not find a lasting relationship but you will have fun trying. If you are single or in a committed relationship your love will be extremely animated, an exciting change from talking.
Dreams: As a Dragon, the sky is your limit in all things, but especially dreams. You fly in your dreams and guard the higher realm with fire, amazing power and rage. As an avid dreamer, your dreams will become more lucid as you work through those challenges that cause you angst in your waking life. If you are someone who cannot remember your dreams, your daydreams may hold the key to information locked away in your night dreams. Write your daydream down and look for the golden nuggets of information. The may help you with anger management.
