As Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of this award-winning global media platform & Chief Encouragement Officer of our affiliated pro bono social impact enterprise; GoodWorks 360°, I am delighted to welcome our new syndication alliance with Reinventing Home, an online magazine exploring how home shapes our culture, creativity, and character. Led by Valerie Andrews, Chief Storyteller, Reinventing Home is a unique venture in non-profit journalism and has been called “a mindful approach to home with a Jungian twist” that embraces everything from the secret lives of our possessions to how the dust underneath the bed is related to the creation of the cosmos.
This latest in our ongoing series of alliances simply reinforces our quest from day one —to deliver the very best insights, intelligence, and inspiration available anywhere. Period. And we do it our way —by placing our writers and our audience at the forefront. This synergistic partnership will expand the visibility of our respective writers, while expanding the size of their audience. My further sentiment, as quoted with this morning’s Press Release below captures the spirit behind our new alliance;
This partnership aligns two game-changing media platforms. We are known for inspiring articles from across the lifestyle, culture and business spectrum. Reinventing Home is a new venture but big in scope — focusing on the evolution of home as a personal sanctuary, cultural salon, and interactive hive. We are proud to be associated with this model of non-profit journalism.
Valerie Andrews, Chief Storyteller of Reinventing Home has written widely about home and our quest for belonging. She is the author of A Passion for this Earth: Exploring a New Partnership of Man, Woman and Nature, and a forthcoming book called Where the Heart Is: Renewing Our Love Affair with Home. Valerie has contributed to two documentary films: Nourish, the story of our food from soil to plate and Powershift, the story of alternative energy. Her articles have appeared in The Optimist, Jung Journal: Culture and Psyche, The Sun, Intuition, Parabola, Esquire, Vogue, and New York magazine. She’s lectured widely on the future of work. To date, she’s moved 30 times and has lots of practical experience reinventing home. As this special alliance came together, Valerie said;
We consider home as the backdrop for our relationships and our growing need for a sense of community and belonging, why “a room of one’s own” enhances creativity, the reconfiguration of home with the rise of contract work and cottage industries, home as a cultural salon and as a haven in uncertain times. We’re pleased to join forces with BIZCATALYST 360° as we explore this revolution in how we live today.
More About Reinventing Home Magazine
We are a group of journalists, academics, artists and activists who believe that home is essential to our health, happiness, and productivity. Isabel Allende says our monthly magazine and newsletter is “like Brain Pickings for the home – a thinking person’s guide to the well-lived life.” Others have described it as “a mindful approach to home with a Jungian twist” that considers everything from the secret lives of our possessions to how the dust underneath the bed is related to the creation of the cosmos. Join us for an enlightened conversation about the way we feel about our nests and the larger issues that are shaping our sense of home, from technology to climate change.
