In the English Alphabet, there are five Vowels. They are A, E, I, O, and U, respectively. Equally we humans have five sense organs, out of which we comprehend the reflections of the external world. Nature endowed us with a unique quality and our cerebral are designed in such a fashion that only can receive the reflections nature endows on us! Out of our five senses, we humans can even imagine a picture being entirely designed by our internal mechanism which may necessarily not having any absolute physical entity, but out of our cerebral capacity we can only envisage its entity and we could evidently realize that external and internal conditions are equally pertinent for our growth and evolution. However, all matters in our vicinity play a key role for even a matter like ours to sustain and evolve!
As equal to five vowels in the English language, human civilization too came across five predominant social structures to date. Right from Primitive Communism, when people were food gatherers, not producers, and when there was no scope to make any surplus value out of garnering wealth to Slave Society, a new form of social structure, primarily designed with inequality of wealth and subjugation of the majority with the vile intention only to possess wealth, and thereafter followed by Feudalism to emerge with a rebellious manifestation and exercise their persistence for a fairly long time, until Capitalization came into emergence by ceasing and replacing the atrocities of Feudalism with their upholding tenet of Democracy. After that, the Socialist social structure emerged by unleashing a new sense of liberty where people from the majority section find their utterances where productive forces and production are largely reinforced, and a new sense of freedom is defined with an aura of humanism.
We cannot rule out that Polity is the intense form of Economy in an available social fabric and in the present socio-political scenario we are observing a severe crisis that is steeping in high magnitude and causing unrest to all forms of polity. Whether in a Presidential or Parliament form of Governance, whether Bi- Part or Multi-Party mechanism, all parties need to patronize and funding to enunciate their popular mandates and it is the Industrialists who fund them to ensure their out-of-return incentives and privileges with an aspiration to increase their profits which have no leaps and bounds and surprisingly having the similarity with the aspirations of all concern parties.
Where there is a single-party system or multiparty Government, both have aspirations only to remain in the corridor of power. Election or selection has an amazing similarity and both are having their respective coterie of interest groups and funding them with the same objectives! To win adults open franchises with popular mandates becoming bait to hoodwink the majority by offering dole politics paving the way for a few industrial houses to only gain abnormal profits with astronomical figures and continuously disfiguring the existing economic political social milieu. Hardly they could envisage that their greedy inclinations only pave the way for brewing unrest in an available social fabric and becoming a breeding ground for incendiaries to explode by numerous alibi, whether religious or racial essence with hate and animosity to cause enmity and chaos and eclipsing the vicinity with the sheer obscure, design of social unrest and nefarious form of which discrimination and lack of sheer integrity, devoid of humanism and harmony is nowadays becoming a common phenomenon.
I wonder whether the Socialists’ or Capitalist’s form of the socio-economic structure has aspirations to satiate their respective goals and both are resorting to the same format with a version having similarity to make allegiance to their preferred group of industrialists who are funding and supporting them respectively to acquire power, political and economic strength with election protocols with a vicious sense to an ingrained majority with an obscure sense of pseudo nationalism! Consequently: Crony Capitalism” now becoming a subject of great paramount and none can nullify this trend eclipsing the present society we are dwelling. What exciting features emerging in both halves of the present socio-economic policy!
In the modern era Technology is playing a key role to shape the entire world and by virtue of the internet, we are now living in a global village.
Whether developed or developing nations, both are taking the advantage of technology and the world’s productive order being largely revolutionized. The chain of supply and demand has gained new momentum. Production forces are being disintegrated along with the entire produced goods and different parts of a product are being decentralized, where a single product is manufactured in various parts of the world and assembled in another. The nature and picture of the market have changed and the competition for the market to being manifested in an intricate fashion. To acquire a sizeable proportion of the market, whether socialists or capitalists are in the fray and both are forced to opt for technology to sustain in the steep competitive market. Consequently, both forms of social structures are adopting the means of production in a similar fashion and resorting to a few giant producers of products who are capable to compete to have their stake. Patronising a few manufacturers are paving the way for new terminology, “Crony Capitalism” to emerge stronger and even change the landscape of capitalists by eliminating centuries-long organizations with new organizations in the Fortune 500 lists.
Innovation and disruption thus became the frontrunner of modern methods of competition and even the polity is largely guided nowadays by such revelations. This “Crony Capitalism” grows out of political parties’ patronage across the world where the political parties aim is only to win in the elections and to ensure their win, these cronies used to fund them, aspiring to get privileges from their political friends to accrue huge financial and another form of assistance and favour to thrive and make profits out of proportions and their numbers are growing astronomically, precisely in the developing nations. In the development, they appear as if a bolt from the blue and started to reign over the entire social, economic, and political milieu, and surprisingly almost the majority of the existing political parties show apathy to combat their brazen and nefarious traits as they almost all took the financial support from them to ensure their very existence in the available socio-economic political milieu.
When technology is dominating the entire world, who else will dare to combat their very existence? Eliminating manual labourers and introducing artificial intelligence with robotics and machine learning is definitely giving impetus to the entire production system and thus few are capable to garner huge profits. With the help of data science, the condition of labour forces are becoming deplorable and precisely in developing nations, their conditions are getting worse. The unemployment scenario is alarmingly rising and the majority of the labour forces are depending on the state’s welfare schemes to merely eke out. Thus dole politics are now making a huge impact and a creamy layer is being created by this existing mechanism only to eclipse the misery and inequality and jeopardy which is emphatically prevailing in the current society.
But can we rule out that if the purchasing capacities of the majority collapsed and they only exist out of the mercy of the state’s welfare schemes, how long we could contain the outburst of the majority’s discontent? The bone of contention is lying with the new form of exploitation where the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few and they only show generosity to their lap dog agents whether from the political domain or from media and intelligentsia to offer a little slice of their cake!
I wonder, why both ideologies, whether capitalist or socialist, despite contradictory to each other are resorting to the same logic of inducing the majority to go for cake, instead of the whole bread? Are they not paving the way for a new design of dispensation of social fabric by welcoming jeopardy and chaos?
I am observing the existence and persistence of a few sharks that are only focusing to swallow their prey indiscriminately just to cause instability and chaos to prevail and an emergence of abrupt bloody and wild chaos to obliterate many from nature’s floor, where fighting against nature will surely take its toll to prove that nature’s honest reflection on human cerebral is inevitable and failing to understand the reflections only pave the way for extinction of myriad.
It is perhaps the ardent call of this present hour to make an equitable and sensible use of technology where the majority could be benefitted and thrive vigorously and try to reduce the inequality in the social structures in order to serve humanity and restore peace and harmony.
