Government-backed U.S. mortgage bonds are poised for their largest quarterly loss in almost two decades, with some of the debt extending declines today. Fannie Mae’s 3 percent, 30-year securities fell 0.2 cent today to 97.5 cents on the dollar as of 3:30 p.m. in New York, down from about 103 cents on March 28, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
