Just remember, the true spirit of Christmas lies in your heart.
–The Polar Express
There’s a profound truth that lives in the heart of every holiday season: Santa Claus isn’t just a figure who travels the world on Christmas Eve – he’s a spirit that dwells within each of us, waiting to be awakened.
Think about what Santa truly represents: pure, unconditional giving. He doesn’t keep score or expect anything in return. A simple cookie and glass of milk might await him, but that’s never why he comes. He gives simply for the joy of bringing happiness to others. His gifts aren’t just wrapped presents – they’re moments of wonder, sparks of joy, and expressions of love. This magic isn’t limited to one night or one person in a red suit. You have this same beautiful power within you right now.
Every day presents countless opportunities to be someone’s Santa – to bring unexpected joy, to share kindness without condition, to light up someone’s world with your presence.
The most precious gift you can offer isn’t found in any store. It’s the gift of yourself – your time, your attention, your understanding, your love. When you truly show up for the people in your life, when you listen with your heart and share your authentic self, you’re channeling the deepest essence of Santa’s spirit.
As you move through this holiday season, remember that you always carry this transformative power with you. Every interaction is an opportunity to spread joy, and every moment is a chance to share love. By opening your heart and giving freely of yourself to those who cross your path, you become part of an ancient and beautiful tradition – you become Santa, bringing light and love to all whose lives you touch.
Be Santa: make someone’s Christmas magical. Make them feel amazed; make them feel special because that’s what the holidays are all about.
The real miracle of the season isn’t in receiving – it’s in discovering how much love you have to give, and watching that love multiply as you share it with others. This is the true gift of becoming Santa: realizing that the more love you give, the more your heart expands to hold even more.
Christmas is not just for the little one’s, who with excitement on Christmas Morning opening a gift that Santa brought, but it is also a time of reflection from within. How has this year gone? What did we do to make someone smile? Did we let go of the grudges and resentment, or will we bring them into the New Year. Did we remember the Christ child who came into the world for the salvation of many. The story of Christ is not a fairy tale, but the Son of God who created all things, gave us life. Each year I try to hand out little bags of hygiene for those who will stand on the sidewalks asking for small change. It’s not much but it is letting them know they are thought of. Merry Christmas to all on this platform of writers all over the world. God Bless
Beautifully said, Lynn. You’ve captured the true spirit of Christmas. May your reflections bring you peace and may the coming year be filled with joy and blessings. Merry Christmas!
To get into the Christmas spirit, you don’t have to keep your phone in your pocket all day, but being present and focusing on those around you is a great way to get back in touch with the Christmas spirit.
Instead of picking up your phone to see what your friends are doing, let’s stop for a moment, look around and ask ourselves: Who needs me today? We could be the key to reaching out and influencing the life of a peer or encouraging a friend who is going through a difficult time in silence.
Amen, Dennis
Merry Christmas to you and Team BizCat
For all that you do
🎄♥️🎅🙏
You are so right TEAMBIZCAT! We can all be Santa by giving our Love, which doesn’t cost a thing but is worth its weight in Gold.
Amen to that, Kat – – Let us join together to make everyone’s Christmas Merry!
Thank you for encouraging giving the gift of “you.” Love is priceless and has the strongest impact that will last and be remembered well into the future!
Priceless indeed, Eileen – thanks for joining the discussion!
Great invocation, TEAM 360! Hope it gathers momentum and takes the form a SantaClonemia!!!
Momentum and spreading the word is precisely what we need, particularly this time of the year, Bharat!
Dennis, this is the real message of Christmas – to give unselfishly of yourself so that others can know what love is. Thanks.
Indeed, Len. Which is why we’ve shared across every Linkedin Group within our network and beyond and all of our Social Media networks and will continue to do so. It’s time for folks to recapture “perspective” while simply appreciating the “gift” of Santa!
Beautiful thoughts for Christmas love sharing. I love this statement, “The holidays are about unlocking the love that you have inside for everybody that you share space with on a daily basis.” Thank you for sharing, Dennis. 🙂
Thank you, Devaney! As mentioned to Jane (below) it was simply time for some fresh/positive perspectives, perhaps in an effort to stop the “negative music” and return to rebuilding relationships and serving others…
I wish I had written this because it’s how I look at life through the holidays and beyond. Thanks for finding this article and sharing it.
Thanks Jane! We decided to write this one “intentionally” Jane, as the time (and season) is upon us to break through all of the “negativity” out there and remind everyone of that which is (much) more important…
Action is (much) more valuable than Intent any day of the week.
