I've loved reading poetry since I was a teen. It sparked and inspired me. I began writing poetry when I was seventeen, and I went to college and received a BA in art. Writing poetry is central to my life. It helps me stay in touch with my heart and soul. I often write about various dimensions of the heart and soul as well as spirituality, consciousness, nature, and about the connection of breath to soul. I am the author of three books that can be viewed on my website. I won the Chiron Review Chapbook Contest in 2000 for My G-Rated Life. It has been great fun teaching classes on creativity and poetry at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center as well as at various bookstores in the community. Working with people as a Certified Hypnotherapist, Psychic, and Animal Communicator is rewarding. Of course, all of these areas of my work spill over into the poetry that I create. I hope that people can hear the breath and music in my poetry. My intention is to open peoples’ hearts and to help them get connected to their souls.
