I’ve seen this long road and it’s divide,
Where man loses courage and where evil resides,
Where weakness sits trembling and in its boots quakes,
As the world in its panic does tumble and break,
You know the truth is, that it’s all in the way,
We look at our lives and spend our days,
It’s in how we see life and each moment left,
The way we move forward reflecting our best.
Fore this time tomorrow, if given the day,
I’ll hope for the best and on my knees pray
For the chance to save others,
As I go on my way!
Another beautiful piece.
Thank you Lynn, ironically I was working on this prior to the current health scare but it seems to address that situation as well. J
The poet becomes the pilgrim. I love this my friend. It is a beautifully inspiring story
Thanks buddy, ironically I was working on this prior to the insanity we’re seeing due to this virus but it kind of fits!
Another beautiful and thought-provoking poem, Johnny! Thank you for sharing your gift.💖
Thank you. Didn’t plan on it coinciding with the coronavirus panic but I guess the time was right.
