Dear readers,
I would like to share a writing I have done as a call from the Holy Spirit, Third Person of the Blessed Trinity. I decided about 6 months ago to change my moniker to a Solider of Christ, while the moniker “The Tales of Nightingale”, remains. Due to the years, I spent in Law Enforcement, and nursing/medical background, I thought it appropriate, however, Christ has called me to be a writer for HIM. So, when the Holy Spirit puts something on my heart, such as this article, my pen begins to flow.
So, it begins: The war in Heaven was not of bloodshed or material weapons. It has to do with conflict of thoughts and affections due to fighting against the Will of God, wanting to be like God. Let me explain: You have an Angel full of “Pride” (one of the Seven Deadliest Sins), the greatest of sins because it branches out to all other sins committed. Pride is the umbrella of the sins of mankind. When the angel of Pride, also known as the Dragon, Lucifer, ( Angel of Light) in Biblical Scripture, prompted his army of angels to desire to be like God, making them equal to Go to do their own “Will” instead of God’s Will, wanting to be like God, the war broke out in Heaven.
Empty was their places in Heaven that they once held, falling from Heaven to earth. St. Michael, the Archangel and powerful protector of Holy people, St, Gabriel (the messenger of God) and St. Raphael (the physician of God), were the greatest among the heavenly beings, known as The Archangels. The angels, while we see them in drawings and paintings with wings and bodies, are actually spiritual beings, meaning they are without physical bodies. They were created to adore and enjoy being with God in Heaven.
Satan, (Lucifer) the Dragon, the demon, is of impurity and attacks with his evil ways against the holiness of God, especially in marriages and family. Angels are mentioned 273 times in the Bible, with one mentioned most importantly the Angel Gabriel who appeared to Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Everyone is given a Guardian Angel at birth, even before the conception of life. In Matthew 18:10 it says,
See that you do not despise one of these little ones, For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.
We know that Angels were present when God created the world. They are wise and intelligent and are not meant to be worshiped, but rather to be called on to protect us, and they are with us throughout our life and even beyond death.
Take time to pray to your guardian angel asking for protection and assistance. Remember that we are asking for their intercession and not placing them above God. When we receive signal “Graces”,( and I am certain everyone has), you think of doing something, or you are feeling unsafe, something isn’t right. That is a signal Grace, given by God through the guardian angel. I myself at one point in my life struggled with the angels while in police work, when I would have to write a report of a child being abused and then being removed from the situation, or that child has died. I asked, “Where are his or her guardian angel? I learned through prayer and understanding, that they are removed because they are innocent, and that no longer can anyone hurt them. God has taken them to Heaven. Mankind chooses to do evil, “Free Will”, but there will be consequences when we leave this world and are called before God Himself.
Our Guardian Angel’s great mission is to see us home to heaven.
Do you believe in Angels?

The “better angels” are thankfully among us Linnie, and you are definitely one of them to be sure! Coram Deo
