Our ongoing series of Studio 360° “fireside chats” brings you face-to-face with some of the most intriguing human beings on the planet. We get to the essence of who they are and what matters most with our probing, unrehearsed questions coupled with the same from our Studio audience. Which brings us to our recent chat with Mark O’Brien.
Most people think of Mark as a writer. He thinks of himself as a storyteller. Why wouldn’t he? He’s our resident gregarious Irishman. While he has innumerable stories of his own to tell, helping other people — and their companies — tell their stories is his passion. Grab a large (Irish?) coffee, sit back, and enjoy our enlightening one-hour chat with Mark.
Thoroughly enjoyed both the meaningful, thoughtful, playful questions and answers shared. What a wonderful way to get to know more about my friend and colleague, Mark O’Brien–learning, always learning. Thank you for creating this format. I will forever have a deep and abiding respect, admiration, and love for Mark O’Brien, creator of a workshop, “Finding Your Voice” in which not only did I find my voice, I widened my experience of seeing, hearing, valuing, celebrating others and being seen, heard, valued, and celebrated-one of the richest gifts humans can share with one another.
Thank you, Laura. I hope you never lose sight of the fact that you give at least as good as you get.
And thank you for branding the workshop we shared, “our sacred space.” It was — and is — indeed.
