The civilian labor force in the United States numbered 155.9 million in 2014, and this is forecast to grow to 163.8 million by 2024, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). During that time, wind turbine service technicians are expected to be the country’s fastest growing occupation, with 108 percent growth. However, the vast majority of fast growth over the coming decade will be in the healthcare sector.
