A Sack Of Snakes

Vincent Viewpoints Header-vincent-ken

Have you ever seen a sack of snakes? No? Well most haven’t. But I have, and unless one is a member of some remote sect that worships snakes, I can tell you it isn’t a pretty sight.

Actually though, if you pay even casual attention to the goings on in D. C. you have seen a sack of snakes. You just haven’t recognized it for what it is.

Trump has been trumpeting (no pun intended) the corruption and dirty politics in his campaign of course. There have even been a handful of political analysts, writers, talk show hosts, and such that have agreed that the Washington system is rife with self-serving and low life elected and appointed people including Mr and Mrs Obama.

But here are a couple of items that indicate just how deep and in-bedded the snakes have become.

First there is the issue of James Comey, Director of the FBI. There may be more to the issue of his dropping the Clinton email investigation a couple of months ago than is widely known. Certainly there was some arm twisting by the White House, the Attorney General, and some influential democrats. But that isn’t the entire story it seems.

As it turns out, the Director and his brother Peter have some connections to a law firm, a CPA firm and a large manufacturing company that does work for the Clintons and the now infamous Clinton Foundation. Connections that paid the Comey brothers over $6 million dollars in recent years. Hmm, if that is true we have to wonder if the dropping of the investigation was influenced by that.

Of course the democrats praised Comey and the republicans condemned him. Now that he has re-opened the investigation the democrats are yelling foul and the republicans are throwing flowers. But, why the odd timing right before the election? While the FBI has had a policy of not taking any actions that could smack of political overtones for the 60 days prior to an election, such an action doesn’t seem to be against the law. Also, we should in fairness note that Comey asked for access to the Weiner laptop back in September and the courts drug their feet on approval. Were they hoping to get past the election before access was granted? But, once the approval was given, Comey had to take the lap top and then seeing the connection to Hillary via her aide, Weiner’s wife, he had to act.

Then let us look at the Weiner/Abedin email issue now on the table. Huma Abedin has been connected to the Clintons since 1995 as a White House aide and then as aide to Hillary, who calls her a second daughter. Just who is Abedin?

She was a writer and Associate Editor for the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs from 1995 to 2008. That journal is a Sharia law journal. Huma’s mother was/is the Editor of that Journal and also sits on the Presidency Staff Council, chaired by Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi. He just happens to also be the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, a known terrorist organization. Now isn’t that all cozy?

Has Clinton and Obama known of the Abedin connection to the Muslim Brotherhood? Of course.

Now, Clinton is trying to push her “second daughter” into the background to distance herself from the new email mess and the fact that her chief aide is a Muslim with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. With all the terrorist actions in recent months, her aide being a Muslim is obviously viewed as something that many American’s won’t cotton to as they say in the South.

No one could even write a movie script so bizarre as this reality.
