Did we wait a lifetime for love to be in our lives, or was it ours in a moment, the moment we looked into each other’s eyes? Did we wait a lifetime for love or was it ours in a moment, the moment our hands touched?
Did we wait in vain, a lifetime of loneliness, always incomplete, never fulfilled? Was it a lifetime or was love ours the moment we embraced?
Did we wait a lifetime for love or was love ours in a moment?
Great post Larry. While it took over 60 years to find her, I knew the first time we met.
Thank you my dear friend. Good to hear from you
One of the phrases most typically associated with the popular saying to falling in love and the birth of love is: “it comes when you least expect it”. Interesting and also, personally, a bit unnerving statement. Clearly, if you want it, you also expect it, so thinking that it only comes when you don’t expect it seems to resonate like a condemnation that it will never come. you always expect it. In any case, beyond the veracity or otherwise of some popular sayings, actually falling in love often presents itself as something sudden. , or to an initial, even if unclear, almost unconscious we would say, feeling that the other will be significant.
