WITH A CONGRESS that continues to bicker and accomplish virtually nothing we find that 74% of citizens have no faith in Congregational members. Even members of congress, both houses and both parties agree that they are accomplishing nothing.
The blessing in all this inaction is that they are not doing anything. The most recent piece of major legislation, i.e. the ACA is such a disaster that we are lucky that they aren’t doing more of the same. Frankly, we would have been better off if they had all stayed home for the past 6 years.
The bad news is that this deadlock and inaction has left a void allowing those in the executive branch to rule by edict and executive order. The results of that are a bulging debt, unprecedented numbers of people on various forms of federal dole, a total breakdown of the D of J, a loss of control of many of the federal agencies, incidents of voter fraud at all time highs, and a complete collapse of border control to name just a few.
So, what are we going to do about it? Vote some new people in this Fall? Okay, and how do we know that they will be better? Are we at a point in this country that we can not get qualified and ethical people to even stand for office anymore? What is your suggested solution?
