Many times throughout history there have been silent movements of goodness that have made a significant impact on humanity. Perhaps we are on the verge of the greatest one yet, and the only thing stopping it is what’s under your fingers! Dr. Lynda Ulrich, a dentist turned social innovator, is the founder of the Goodness Exchange (formerly Ever Widening Circles), a positive media company on a mission to prove that in spite of the doom and gloom that reaches us through the internet, there’s an enormous wave of progress and goodness underway, hidden under the noise of our digital lives. Her work points to a world of less fear and more joy, as she shares in this TED talk some of the countless acts of good happening all around us through what she calls a “Conspiracy of Goodness.”

BE PART OF THE LEGACY
This FINAL encore experience will be unlike any other. Because like everything we do, it's been "reimagined" from beginning to end. It's not a virtual or hybrid event. It's not a conference. It's not a seminar, a workshop, a meeting, or a symposium. And it's not your typical run-of-the-mill everyday event crammed with stages, keynote speeches, team-building exercises, PowerPoint presentations, and all the other conventional humdrum. Because it's up close & personal by design. Where conversation trumps presentation. And where authentic connection runs deep.
A Conspiracy of Goodness

Yes, the true ‘heroes’ of our times are the many people who, without exhibitions and in everyday life, put their time, their skills, freely at the service of others, especially the poorest or most fragile, and of the environment. .
Each of us has the opportunity to make a difference, to be that small drop in the ocean that creates waves of change. You don’t always have to make grand or epic gestures. Sometimes, true heroism lies in the little things, in those gestures of kindness that seem insignificant, but can completely change someone’s day.
In a world that seems increasingly focused on chaos and negativity, these stories are a beacon of light, a reminder that kindness exists, that love exists, and that every single act of kindness, no matter how small, can do a huge difference.
Being helpful to someone makes you feel good and to do so there is no need for grand gestures or extraordinary actions, acts of courtesy that sometimes we even tend not to notice are sufficient.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful talk Dennis and for sharing it Charlotte! Excellent recommendation by Dr Lynda Ulrich
